Chef's Kiss is built to respect your privacy. This page explains what data the iOS app and this website may process, and how we protect it.
This marketing website is static and does not collect personal information. We do not use cookies or tracking pixels here.
When using the app, your recipes, tags, ratings, notes, and meal plans are stored in the cloud with your account. Limited local caching may be used for performance. You can export or delete your data at any time from within the app.
When you generate new recipes from a title and description, or import recipes from photos, the app securely sends the provided content to a cloud function solely for the purpose of creating or converting it into structured recipe data (title, description, yield, ingredients, instructions). The AI service does not use your content for model training.
Chef's Kiss requires cloud storage to save and access your content across devices. Your data is stored in your account's cloud database and storage area. Access is protected by authentication, and security rules restrict access to your content to your account only.
The app may include optional, privacy-respecting analytics to help improve product quality. You can turn this off in settings.
You control your data. You may delete recipes, images, and any associated content at any time from within the app. Removing the app from your device also removes local data.
